Name:  Robert Gardner

Advisor:  Dr. Robert Hard

Degrees:  B.A. in Anthropology, University of Texas at San Antonio

Thesis Topic:  Labor Organization and Investment at the Early Pithouse period Sanchez Site

Research Interests:  I currently work in the American Southwest on Mogollon Early Agricultural and Early Pithouse period sites. My thesis project utilizes drone imagery and 3D photogrammetry to perform volumetric analysis on archaeological features at one of these sites. These statistics will be used to estimate labor investment in the site’s features and along with other data hopefully shed light on the site’s labor organization. My overarching research interests focus on exploring the application of new technologies in archaeological field research and improving data sharing between researchers.
