Last Friday (October 13th) we held a Culture, Society and Environment Workshop looking at Dr. Halvaksz' upcoming book chapter. We had a great turnout and shared some really productive discussion around his chapter 4 tentatively titled "Working the Land". Look for our next Culture, Society and Environment Workshop coming up in late October early November.
Thank you everyone who helped to wish Carolyn (our long time department secretary) a happy retirement and thank her for all that she has done for us. It was a really successful event and I think everyone had a really good time.
