The magnificent remains of Pueblo Bonito draw visitors to the Chaco Culture National Historic Park. The first excavations at Chaco Canyon were conducted in the 1890’s under the American Museum of Natural History. By the 1920’s archaeologist Niel Judd and the Smithsonian were introducing the world to the “Chaco Phenomenon.” Photo captured by Ashley Jones. Featured in the 2014 AGSA Calendar.
